2023 Scholar Chess Player Question

They didn't have a contact email written at the bottom so I guess I'll just post my question here.

One of the requirements say that I need at least 25 rated events played, but immediately after it says "25 game requirement". Do they mean events, or games? Because I have only played 18 events this year.

Thanks!

Based on the information further down, it's 25 games that meet the requirements:

  • Evidence, listed in the form or uploaded separately, that you have played at least 25 US Chess or FIDE qualifying rated games held from dates January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.

Hard to believe that would be 25 events. 25 games is a pretty common limit to provisional status, so it seems likely to be what they mean here. Reasonable question, though; looks like they wrote it incorrectly.

Yeah, 25 events crazy amount every two weeks! Must mean 25 games. Good luck!

Also for #3 and #4, that's what my dad said too, which makes sense, but I just wanted to be sure yeah
