With great apology, we awarded the team Arena #1 who persistently joined with a partner until it was discovered that unfortunately, the Partners-Only feature appeared to break the arenas and make them unplayable at the time. Therefore, for future arenas, we have removed the Partners-Only feature and allowed people to join either with or without a partner. However, we have expectations:
1. Calculated in the score of the winning two teams takes into consideration the score only mutually between the two teammates, and their performance rating if they played all games together;
2. In the event that both teammates played with other partners, the performance rating will be assumed 0 in tiebreaks;
3. Aborts resulting from accidental joining will only be excused once before the lower score of the team becomes effective (similar to https://www.chess.com/variants/archive/arena/3083 for an example decided in favor of Reza and Warakomski)
4. Eligibility rules continue, and terms prohibiting already qualified players are still in effect.

To clarify: Basic eligibility requirements (must not play on a secondary account for this championship and must be clear of any cheating/sportsmanship/abuse violations).
If on a chat ban, must be clear by Round 1, and must not be chat banned during bracket matches.

Sometimes players take long breaks from chess.com; so a workaround this would be to share your Discord/email ID with TD/admins so that you get a notification and then you can check the forum. Would that be feasible?
