B1 seems to be the most balance and interesting one here

You obviously don't know who Carlos is...

No offense to anyone else, but he's a few classes above his opponents. After all, he's the official World Champion.

You might not know Gang and Flappy then, watch their number of games and come back to talk

I know them well enough - one played a total of 118 games and the other 194 - Carlos: 2025 games and has been playing for at least 6 years! I have played against all three and I know what I am talking about very well! If they were to introduce themselves under their real names (old nicknames) I might change my opinion somewhat, but right now everything says that they are simply far below Carlos' reputation - both in experience and skill.

And I know one more thing - you certainly won't tell me when I'll comment on something and when I won't.

Isn't it obvious? Flappykana is Flappydayo and GangLife_H is Gangster_H, which he didn't play that much FFA games before, but that just shows that he is very good despite playing very few games and has great potential to improve, maybe even surpass Carlos in the future (No disrespect btw). In the other hand, let's look at other brackets, what do you see? Either someone is far above the rest, or someone is too weak. In B2 I can confidently say that MuppetRobin is 95% out, very low chance he could get to R2. In B3, I mean, Idk what do I have to talk about this bracket, literally nothing here, Tja proceed. B4, again, rum_x, too far behind from the rest, very few chance. And once again, no disrespect to anyone I've mentioned, but to me they're just too weak to fight for R2 ticket

Careful saying that or you might end up like agg69 in this throwback chessbrah video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dHFgSCx6BkY&t=280s&pp=2AGYApACAQ%3D%3D

I respect your opinion, but mine is quite different.

(I'll allow myself to explain vividly why I reacted that way in Carlos' case - imagine that you've been playing basketball for 6 years at the highest level; you've won everything there is to win - you were MVP (World Champion), won an NBA ring (World Champion in teams with Tiger) and you're still playing great but less and that's why your rating is 300 lower than you deserve...and then a fan comes from the sidelines and says that it's nothing special and that two other players are currently achieving the same results - all three are achieving 20 points per game in the last 20 games. And based on the current average, it's logical to conclude that they are the same! I don't think they are and I give you a big advantage over the vast majority of players, not just these two. Gang has great potential, I've watched him and played against him and he'll very quickly become a "name" in this game if he continues like this. Flapy I know less but he has the opportunity to prove it. My favorite here is Carlos and he, in my opinion, deserved to be in the semifinals directly.

I wouldn't agree with you about the other group either - if it's the one I think it is, muppetrobin is a very famous player, old school and he can beat anyone. He doesn't play often and changes nicknames but I know him very well. Of course, Icy is a biiiig favorite and it's a shame he's not in the semifinals already. The toughest group by far.

I bet you haven't watch the 2024 W4PCC teams, Carlos and Eye made it to the final and lost 5-7 against Icy and Caruana

Gang life is highly rated in 2pc -- he is clearly the favorite, no offense to Carlos

Is he?

Gang is 2700+ teams and 2000 fide 2pc, but the next best players are no higher than "only" 2450 teams and 2000 online. He will likely have an advantage in the four player stage, but his opposites are never going to match him, and there's only so much you can outplay someone no matter how strong you are in 2pc.

More often than not, Carlos is going to enter the 3-stage in an ok position, and I feel he has to be a favorite in that situation. Gang could be a very strong player, but so far his understanding of balance and balance manipulation does not seem to be in any way comparable to Carlos'.

I think his strength of play could very well disrupt Carlos' ideas, but I would think that would make it more of a toss-up than anything else.

Predictions for fun:

R1B1: Carlos

R1B2: Icy

R1B3: TJA

R1B4: Pknm though I think Millz would have a decent shot

R2B1: Toss-up

R2B2: Also toss-up; eye or icy feel like the favorite but radon is very strong and jbolea always seems to overperform in tournaments

R2B3: Probably Aara or Cha

R2B4: Prathu is probably the slight favorite but it could go either way.

Finals: Theoretically Rojitto/Eye/Aara/Prathu. It could be any of the four but Rojitto is probably my first favorite and Aara my second.

I would say R1 bracket 1 and 4 are going to be interesting (obv in bracket 1 carlos is most obv to win it) In bracket 4 all the players are decent and have equal chances for qualifying for R2. Rum X who tilts sometimes used to be a good player in the past I have seen him playing in the 2024 ffa WC games he didnt qualify for semis but he did play good. Jens and pknm are both old players and would say they are better then Rum x in terms of skills but would be a close battle in them. Miltz is a new player has a decent play and ofc has chances in qualifying from the bracket. overall my fav in B4 is Jens with doubt

I think R2 bracket 3 going to be interesting as tremil and sakthi are both in it and both are skilled enough to give a tough challenge promaster and cha cha

I'm surprised I'm expected to get past R1, haha. pknm is the favorite for b4 though for sure. I'm just excited to see how the games pan out, though. I don't think I'll make any predictions XD
