Now, if you've been on chess.com for at least a month, you've been hearing about xumi. Xumi is a troll who recently has been going on a full scale rampage. If you don't know about Xumi, I'll guide you through the whole drama in this forum post.

Who is Xumi?

A valid question. We don't know who xumi is until some brave soul is willing to doxx them. But you can usually tell if it's xumi by how they write in forums, or if there is a huge win count on the acc. A pro tip for identifying xumi: Go with the crowd. If everyone is accusing an account of being xumi, there's a good damn chance it is.

Xumi contacted me, what do I do?

If xumi contacts you through Messages, follow this guideline:

1. Take screenshots. A lot of them. The more evidence you have, the more likely Chess.com is to believe the reports.

2. Bait xumi for more incriminating evidence. Provoke Xumi, maybe you'll uncover something nobody knows.

3. Don't trust xumi. Xumi will say anything to try to convice you their not Xumi. Just ignore what they say to try to defend themselves.

4. Make a forum post and report the account. Make a forum topic and include all evidence you've collected.

Final thoughts

Xumi is... a degenerate, among other things. If you come into contact with Xumi just bait,reveal,repeat. Bait xumi by aggravating them, reveal your information to the forum, and repeat if you come into contact with xumi again. Thanks for reading, and good luck in your fight against Xumi!
