Yes, the problem is that people aren't keeping track of any interesting record-breakers. Every game is looking too common to me when I observe it, so it really isn't fitting.
4PC Record Book
Nice. I almost forgot that reaching ratings can also be records. Or number of moves made by a single piece can be tried out. For the latter, you can use a piece of paper, and keep track of how many moves each piece makes (extra recommendation: write where each piece moved each time so you never forget).
All the time, I’ve been looking for a real highest rating increase, and I was so surprised when I actually got +326.9 against a bunch of players whose ratings were all said to be lower than mine.

@Chessisfunforme also mentioned this unusual concept of Arena of Legends’ rating system a while ago in here:

(I mentioned this because the picture shows the record from this very game.)
Most rating lost in one game: -280.2 https://www.chess.com/variants/arena-of-legends/game/53121063/99/1 @BFDICHESS
@MegaThief Playing hyperbullet is like ice skating. It is easy for two players to slip to a third and then for the third to claim the win with these time controls, compared to slower ones. Therefore, I agree with your idea.
I agree with @MegaThief . Hyperbullet doesn't require much skill, and it is much harder to get a 3-move-checkmate in Rapid, because the players can take their time to think and find all of the checkmate threats. + @zisal2029's argument.
Grable isn’t on the admin team anymore, so I’m not sure why he is the one you guys are complaining about
New record for longest games and most moves: 2h 25min, 398 moves.

Apparently this is nowhere close to the record. There is actually a variant that takes 350K moves to win!
Not sure what that is, but we are talking about standard 4PC here...
But for standard 4pc, that IS a well-deserved world record!
Also note that there have never been a 4-digit number of ply moves in any one rated 4PC game before, since 225.75 moves is at best 903 ply.
Buffed this post. This seems to have seemingly been forgotten and it would be nice if this was pinned by the admins.
