More prospective qualifiers will be ready in joining the next 7th Leg of PACE Active Open Chess Championship (2100 & Below PACE Rapid Rating) on August 1, 2010 Sunday 10:00am at PACE HQ, 2nd Floor 56 Mindanao Ave., Project 6, Quezon City. The event is organized by Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence. A guaranteed prizes will be given to the Champion P 4,000.00 plus PACE Trophy, 2nd Place P 2,000.00, 3rd Place P 1,000.00, 4th Place P 800.00, 5th Place P 500.00 plus PACE Medals, 6th to 10th Place P 300.00 Each, Top Women 1st Place – P 1,500.00, Top Women 2nd Place – P 800.00, Top Women 3rd Place – P 500.00 plus PACE Medals, Top Under 2000, 1900, 1800 – P 500.00 Each and Top Unrated – P 500.00. Meantime, Enrollment is still open at the Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence (PACE) for the opening of weekend classes that will start on August 7, 2010 Saturday at PACE HQ MIndanao Ave., Project 6, Quezon City. Chess Classes will apply the Ten Session program for Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate and Advance Level.
