960Chess Online databases

It is not our goal to create a complete database that would ruin the aim of the 960Chess FRC. Besides, the size to comply with that mission (at least in terms equivalents to standard chess) would be simply beyond our hand.

However, I believe it is interesting to have access to games played by expert players so you can get a rough idea about how to play in a given starting position.

I will keep posting here, any websites with FRC games and I invite you all to add any other links you know or learn about.

Here you will find a good number of games played either by computers and human in International 960Chess events. You can sort by FEN or Start position number.

Some games analysed by Schredder chess. Mainly from the WCC 2005.

Just 15 games available. The analysis provided by Schredder engine is quite old.

Once again, from our colleague Mark, a quite complete table with games played by GM and engines tournaments at Mainz.

Just missing 2005 and 2009 seasons. 2009 can be found at the event official site. I can provide 2005 games to anyone interested.

Quite useful. Recommended

Probably the most complete project of game explorer created up to date. Unfortunately, most of the info is only available for site premium members but basically it is pretty similar to the DB we want to create here.

The most complete resource and chess960 games explorer currently available.

The largest FRC games data base (+66500). Unfortunately, we are talking about engine matches only. Foot in mouth

It is useful since the pgn files included the comments of the games analysis.

Believe it or not, probably this one is already the largest source of FRC games played by amateurs currently available online:

Do any of you know where it is? Laughing

(I am looking forward to chess.com providing some kind of game explorer or at least a filter to sort by Opening Array)
