I remember watching TV that day. It was 11 o' clock at night, and I had just come home for work. I needed to relax for a bit before sleeping. It was a very funny show. My favorite at the time, if I remember correctly. And then the sounds started. I could hear scraping sounds on the hardwood floor. I searched around and found the source immediately. Someone had slipped a small folded note under the door.
"What the...?" More curious than anything, I approached the note slowly. I picked up the strange sheet of paper and looked at it. On it were 5 words, written in a messy and muddy fashion: "Get out. He is coming." I didn't pause to consider the meaning of this note. I went to throw it into the recycling bin thinking that it was probably a prank from the neighbors. And then I stopped cold in my tracks. I realized that something was very wrong about this situation:
