Call to Active Members

Hello!

I'm ItaVero, and ffilatow has appointed me an as admin to help out with vote chess and team matches.  I'll also be trying to add events and tournaments to the group calender.  So far I've added the massive US Open that is being held at the Orlando International Airport.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you more active members want to have any more vote chess games and team matches. We only have 2 vote chess games going at moment so I'd be happy to add a maybe 2 or 3 more if anyone is interested. Seeing as we only have a regular group of 4-6 members partaking in discussions, anyone interested can always join in no matter what skill level.  

As of team matches we have 4 ongoing and 2 more on the way, fine by be, but if anyone wants any with specific options like rating ranges or shorter/longer times then just reply.

Hi ItaVero, thanks for taking some of the reins. :) I'd be happy to participate in team matches with 3 days or longer per move. -Amelia

Great! I'll set one up for 7 days per move?

Done. I set one up with "The All UK Group" for 7 days a move, 2 games each.

I still not really sure of how is it going to work, but if you want to get in touch with the creator of the group ( kid_of_chess) he can explain what the group is about.

Let he know that you will be handling team matches and he may ask you to join his group.

I appreciate everyone's involvement.  I have a lot going on AFK, so am not as active as I used to be.  Still, it's good to see a few more people getting involved here and there.

Fulvio put me as an S/A a long time ago, to help out while he was away.  Back then, our group was a bit smaller, and there were few people that got involved.  Now-a-days, I am not the most-involved person up here on chess.com, or as a group Admin.  As such, I'm not sure if I'm the best person to have as a back-up S/A.  Yes, if it comes down to it, I'll do the job, but perhaps being a regular Admin would suffice.

ItaVero; if you have any questions about setting up T/M's or V/C games, let me know.  I did those two things exclusively for the Chess Warriors group (until recently), so can help with answers.  It's not too hard, though, so you should be able to catch on, no problem.
