A Good Investment?

Back in February the BDCA Executive granted BDCA Knights £150 to enter the 4NCL Northern Division. I was against this as I did not see how it would improve chess in Bradford. After last weekend I see BDCA Knights A are joint top. The BDCA have not published any minutes for meetings since July so is there any more expenditure? If not, maybe the BDCA can make a profit if they win the £1000 First Prixe.

Maybe this is a good time to think about what to do with that profit?

Thanks for the support Matt, we are looking forward to the matches to come.

However, even if we do win the competition it will be for the Bradford DCA Knights squad to determine how any prize money is spent and not the BDCA.

We are grateful to the BDCA and the Yorkshire Juniors Chess Association for both financially sponsoring us to get these teams up and running. However, we answer to neither and are an entirely separate entity to both of these organisations.
