This is a study to document and better understand the nuances of the functionality of View and the inconsistencies of other aspects of Collections features.
Current Understanding of View: View is presented when a game is added to a collection from either players Archive or from the Master Games. It is effectively a link and presents the view as if referencing the oringal file from the Archive or Master Games, not the file in the collection.
I'm not sure of the value of View as it is confusing from the context of the collection. Analysis from the View with the addition of annotation don't get saved in the Collection but back in the original file. Not what one would expect when thinking one is in the context of a collection.
The View button might be better as Link Back to Original or better still just eliminated.
