A variant - Reinforcement Chess

This variant is, close to Crazy house, but, when you capture a piece, let's say a knight, it spawns immediately were your knight would start.

For example. A piece captured a knight. The squares were your original knight started (B1, G1 for white, B8, G8 for black), the captured knight will 'spawn' there. Thus, it is yours. But if you want to capture the knight, and the those B1 G1 (If you are playing white), and B8, G8 (If you are playing black) squares are taken by some other piece, you can't capture the knight. Everything else is the same of the standard chess.

Sounds cool! Idea for a name: "Reinforcement Chess"

I did, but then someone said that you should post this forum in a variant club. This is a variant club, isn't it?

that is an interesting idea. What if another piece is already there?

Then you can't capture that piece.

Then you wouldn't be able to capture it, if I understand your question correctly.

An alternative "reinforcement chess" could be that you play with a backup reserve of say one backup knight, one backup bishop, one backup rook that are in your reserve (like you already captured them in crazy house) before the game. You can drop them as a move like in crazyhouse, but captured pieces go away like in regular chess.
