I have been very curious about an unexpected idea in Guicco piano game. I seen it in many games.

In guicco piano games, you probably expect kingside castle for both sides and slow game but black has a very sharp and dangerous attack which can catch the unprepared off-guard. It is not exact sequence of moves but an idea. As black, instead of castling, the players can play h6 and then g5, to begin an attack on the castled white king, while keeping its own king in the centre.

Ideas and maneuvers

•Qe7 Qf8 Qh6

•g4 kicking the knight (If Nh4 then Nxe4) h5 h4 g3 pawn break

•After g3 pawn break, fxg3, hxg3, h3 - We play the bishop sacrifice, Bxh3

•Ne7 Ng6 Nf4

Even succesfully played by GMs

What I've written above is either mentioned in contents of titled player specially on this attack or based on the games of this idea I've studied

What do you think about it? If know more about this you can write it down in comments

I think this is good as someone who plays the Italian and guicco piano quite a lot
