This may not be the right thing to do, but when I am faced with that, I drag the game out as long as I can =) waiting until the last 2 hours to move, and making alot of moves. I dont resign a game unless I am beaten. There are times I play on even down a peice or two, because I want to practice tactics, ect. If I am down and unable to win, I resign as that is the sportsmanlike thing to do. However, if they are being rude, I take my time and ignore the chat, and just take forever to play =)

my opponent in our team match"Bulgaria vs USRC" has started demanding I resign, Im wasting his time, references to my mother, etc. If this happens to you, you have several recourses: 1/you can report him to chess.com 2/copy the chat and either send it to their admin or forward it to me and I will send it to their admin 3/turn off your chat so that he can't get thru to you. also, you can block all messages coming from that opponent. because once you shut him out of your chat, I will guarantee he will start messaging you. I chose option 2 and 3 with this guy, and basically told him he was the last part of the horse to cross the finish line. Any feedback, comments, etc? this is a very sore point with me.
it's indicative of the general decline and fall of civilization.
