bro bots in 4pc !!! programmung them would be a very difficult task ... how are you gonna solve conflicts .if two bishops of different colour are hanging which one shall be chosen and other conflicts??

It will obviously calculate which bishop is best to capture or not.
Ah well ffa bots would be pretty difficult i think but would be worth the effort forsure! However teams yes, seems very possible. Leela zero, or hopefully alpha zero himself! lol Would turn the tables on 2v2 chess and would open our eyes on the board. I dont' see apha zero or leela zero having a hard time learing ffa though, but very interesting stuff.

Indeed! Though they move a bit random...
The bots move too slow. In game #42749, 2 bots timed out.
Also my connection to 4pc-test is really poor. Not sure if it's my problem or not.
As a side note, why some of the bots can't speak English in chat

made them bit faster now (depends on increment). they do occasionally say a few english words, but most they are very sophisticated latin speakers, to make up for their poor play, in fact they have skill levels from 1-26, where 1 is a random move bot and a level26 bot will have a signifacant edge over lower rated bots

@SJ_SJ They only appear when spacebar is online.
I think they should be able to be distinguished clearly from human players by all of the players who see them for the first time, especially in match seeks. I had an odd feeling at first when I faced 3 very weak players with the same photo chatting in a language I don't understand.
that is cool, I can't wait for chess.com to put them in the main game!
Chess.com, I think that you should really add bots in this game You should be able to play unrated FFA or Teams with bots. The bots should be selected randomly to be your own strength. Also, be able to try custom positions vs bots.

And the starting should look something like this.
Also for the programming, I think that chess.com could come up with a way to at-least create logic bots for the non-variant 4 player games. Post whether you guys agree or not.
