Adding new variants

1. I want to use kings, but I don't want to have royals
2. Can add rules similar to Thermopylae in custom variant? this is when the green's royal "captured by zombie" green wins 
3. Can add extended rules, the player Checkmate by zombie wins?

The rules are similar to racing cars, like this, red royals reach the red line to win, blue royals to the blue line to win...and so on, the difference is: you can use check

So basically you win by reaching the opposite side?

How can I add name to my variant? I invented Modern Camel Shatranj. All rules like in shatranj. Exept: 1.Camels replaces alfils. 2.Pawn promotes to any piece, exept the king (because I cannot program here this rule, pawn automatically promotes to the strongest piece - rook). Is there an option to play Kriegspiel with computer or friend? IE where you see only your pieces and legal moves.

Thanks but it didn't show my pieces, just squares on my side of the board. And it didn't let me play it once I had selected a bot. Not sure how to get to it if I connect with a friend.

OK thanks. Got it to work, but it is not Kriegspiel. It shows the opponent's pieces when they can be taken. That's not the point of the game. Should only ever se my pieces.

In old chaturaji game, when your king reached other player's king's initial square (called throne), it was win. 

I and my friends have imagined a wonderful variants, which cannot be designed in chess.com. It is called naval chess.

The rules involve: The position is not changed, while the 16 centre squares are "sea squares" and other 48 are "land squares". The movement of pieces are limited by the sea squares. The moving line of queens and bishops, including the destination but without the initial position, cannot contain the sea and land in one move. The rook cannot reach the sea square without an enemy piece. This means that if there is a piece in the sea and can be captured by the rook, the rook can capture it and stay in the sea, and if the destination is sea and has no opposite piece, the rook cannot go there. The move of pawns, knights, and kings are not limited. BTW, pieces cannot capture their allies.

I have tried this game for many times with my friend offline and find it interesting. I m looking forward for that we can play this game online.

In Thermopylae, green starts with 14 points.

I have a proposal for a new chess variant. The queen would be able to jump over 1 piece in a move almost like a knight however it can not check the king through another piece to avoid in order to much of an advantage the second change is that when the king is put in check it is able to double move but it can not move through check or into check additionally the king can not capture the piece that originally put it into check. I am still playing around with the idea but let me know what you think of it so far. If you have any other suggestions for the variant let me know.

dragon fly chess it takes place on a 7x7 board, there are no queens and the setup goes like this, rook, bishop, bishop, king, knight, knight, rook, mirror this setup for black, pawns may not do the double step move, pawns may not promote to a queen, pawns promote on the first or 7th row.

I keep waiting to see if either of these have been solved: a) A variant that plays or referees proper traditional Kriegspiel. with completely blank board. b) a fix to the classroom board that allows teacher and pupil to view with their pieces at the bottom at the same time. Any news on them?

Capablanca Chess would be a great variant to add
