I have advertised on two of the local facebook sites and am looking to advertise on some more when I find them. I'm really hoping that I can get more members and get all of this going. My ultimate goal is to not only play online but to have face to face games once a week or once a month.

I started this group on July 4 and there hasn't been any activity and I want to say I'm sorry for that. I honestly don't know how to advertise the club. I was hoping that some fellow Yoopers would find the club and just join but that hasn't happened. I'm planning on looking into advertising and get the club moving. I'm thinking about making some flyers and posting them in the local stores here in Ontonagon. I'm also thinking maybe adding my phone number to the flyers to start maybe a face to face chess club. I've got a beautiful glass chess set that is screaming to be used. I'm hoping all of this will help get things stimulated.
