I have a concern that I just we are not showing enthusiasm in our match play! when I joined this group I asked questions and certain members were rude, told me to shut up and play! that he would beat me and on and on and on. Well, that's then, this is now! Now we're in matches and no one is winning and I'm wondering what's going on and what can we do to raise our level of play. I am winning my games in team play, but what's up with the rest of the group?

I was disrespected because I asked why I was being left out of matches, when all I wanted was a chance to show the group that I can play, and that you can count on me to give  my all for the team. I have been representing The Chess Ninjas, with gusto! I haven't heard anything negative, congratulatory, or anything from the group period. where's the support, not just for me, but across the board? Can our players engrossed in competition get not 3 cheers for their effort, cane we get 1 cheer?

A house divided can't stand, we need to pull together and strengthen our group so that we can do what ninjas do!

thanks for your support, and for your enthusiasm. it is very refreshing to see one of our members getting passionate about our group.

i must appologize if any of our members have been rude. unfortunately you can't control everything. we aim to be a group that you can feel good to be a part of.

i have a possible solution. do you think that you have the knowledge and desire to help make this group a little better? if the answer is yes. then i would consider making you an admin on a trial basis. if you make a positive impact the job is yours. what do you think?

I may be able to offer some advice, solutions to the problem, #1 being commuication! apropriate communication goes a long way. I have learned in the short period I've been involved with chess.com, that the more members interact with each other as a group, the more commfortable they become which allow them to relax and perform without feeling unnecessary pressure, therefore allowing them to perfom at a higher level. #2 Selection, When setting up matches, you want your strongest players on the boards. This may not sit well with friends, but it's for the overall betterment of the team. They have placement for every skill level, so place the player where they belong and where they can strive and build confidence as a player.#3 Keep it fun & entertaining, request ideas, get hot topics and forums going non stop! the more involved they become, the more enthusiastic they will become... I believe these basic steps can generate a boost in moral and propell the group forward...
