Allen Parson

Is it true, that Allen Parson,once was part of pink Floyd ?

Parsons served as an assistant sound engineer for The Beatles' Abbey Road album. Since Dark Side of the Moon was being made at Abbey Road Studios, he worked as the staff engineer, as a relatively unknown. He had worked with Floyd on Atom Heart Mother as a tape tech.
