"Pawn storming" with a messed up pawn position is better than pawn storming with 1 pawn island!
I understood White's idea behind fracturing his pawn structure Joker, but I didn't see any reason to fear it. Frankly, I think the whole concept is misguided. With correct defense, Black shouldn't have any problems.
