Analysis & Team Communication

Obviously this would only work if a few of us have similar times where we could get together... but it's an idea driven by DJAbacus's idea of Skype me..

Since we are not all premium members we couldn't use the chess.com analysis board but i was wondering if we could use Skype.. and use some database software like chessbase or SCID & share screens (hopefully we can share screens with more than one person) and we could chat live about positions, openings etc... sure one person would be in control of the board and moving pieces (unlike if we could use the chess.com analysis) but it would probably be far superior than text type communication about similar things..

Unless of course we couldn't make a meeting time that suits at least a few of us...

anyone want to try it out with me at some point?

Nice idea, different time zones is a challenge of course. Will try to join if time fits :-)

Would people like to leave their time zone below with +/- GMT?

That way we can start looking at times & days that may suit and who would be interested.

I'm in +10 GMT/UTC but work afternoon/evening shifts so it may suit other timezones well?

This is a good idea, and it will still be beneficial even if only some can meet up. I m most likely unable to attend :-(
