Following my same line of thought for when I'm cornered, or at least feel like it, I did what I always do : Higher authority. So I went over the heads of the admins, and the person I spoke with both gave me their assurance that it was ok, and even a couple rules clarifications, for which I thanked him/her , ( I'm not saying which ) And I will be incorporating them into my 4PC strategy as fast as I can figure out how to use them.  I will no longer be fighting the people who play opposites.

assurance about what?

Assurance that it was OK to play opposites. I said that right there.

it's obvious you either spoke to spacebar or Bab and since you've countered spacebar many times it could only possibly be Bab...

Either way, did you REALLY need to ask, just to satisfy yourself?

Yes I did. Because I still don't understand all of it, but I will stop beating the dead horse. I have 2 ways to proceed from here and it makes no sense to try to stop it any more. I will still report people for teaming, but once I understand how it works, it won't be for opposites.

It's really simple: you team (cooperate, really) with your opposite until one of the adjacent players get checkmated. There are some intricacies within this concept, but the basic idea is to help your opposite when they are in trouble and attack your side players to simplify the game. The opposite cooperation should end after a player gets mated, but if two people consistently team AFTER that, then you can definitely report them for it. You will still see people "taking advantage", but this is just to even out the game and keep the balance so that no one player has a material, time, or point advantage. I assume you already know this, though, so hopefully the opposite thing gets cleared up for you in the future. Also, I'd like to apologize if I said anything offensive or anything to you or about you, because I, and probably many others, thought you were just another troll spamming the forums about "cheating". Hopefully you accept my apology

Cheese :

No hard feelings, it's cool. I really am interested in growing the game, and care about a clean game. And since I really am 65, with over 50 years of chessplaying in my lifetime, I think I can make a contribution here and there. I've been playing so long, Bughouse was called " Double Speed "  back when I was in High School when I played on the State Championship team in 1974. Let's be friends. I don't bite and I've had all my shots, including my 1 to 3 Covid jabs.
