There are no easy Brackets this year...

It's a world championship. There are world-class players in every Bracket.

Last year there might have been one slightly weaker bracket but the other 3 brackets all have been insanely strong.

Do you confirm this schedule?

I am very happy to see this championship, excellent players qualified.  Personally I did not play well and made too many mistakes, I am very rusty in OG, I hope to see these same players in the future, competing in championships in Bsrti configuration, it would be great.  I wish them every success in the next phase of the championship.

And still, 2/3 (65%!) of the Top 20 did not qualify. Yes some of them didn't take part, but most did. It proves well enough, I think, that the arena format doesn't work well.

The Leaderboard is not representative at all.

Some of the qualifiers have higher elo than those featured but haven't played rated games lately.
@Grathieben and @Radon e.g.

Henrik (@hest1805) did not want to qualify he also did not play last year. But this was a personal decision from him and had nothing to do with the qualifiers.
@LazyImp did qualify but withdrew.
@typicalmove did qualify but was disqualified due to an unfortunate violation of the rules.

The only top player I know who tried multiple times but failed is @a1t19

And everybody below that is only within the leaderboard because the rest of the leaderboard is inactive.

Yes, true; and I'm aware about the problem of the display. I've always said that inactive players should be shown regardless. Because of the inflation they are anyway pushed lower progressively. And the Top 20 (that should be Top 100 BTW) should represent the real situation.

@a1t19 gifted the win about 10 times during the qualifiers 🤮

This year was probably not their best
