It doesn't do that for me, strange. Are you on Windows, Linux or something else?
Perhaps this is what Options | Windows | Auto-Raise controls? (although I have that option on, and it doesn't do what you describe)

I figured that was happening to everyone. If it's not then it might have something to do with my system. I'm running Windows XP Home edition. I tried checking and un-checking the "Auto-Raise" and it didn't make any difference.
At first I thought wormrose was talking about other programs' windows popping up. Then I discovered that if I undock a SCID window it will always pop to the front anytime my mouse rolls over it. I tried the same Auto-raise option with no change. I'm running Windows XP Pro. I'm going to try bypass the menu option and edit the option file directly in case there's something broken between the menu and the file.
I love SCID and I use it all the time. However there is one feature I find very annoying and I would love to disable it if anyone can tell me how.
Situation - I have SCID open and then I have other windows open which are partially in front of the SCID window - and if I then allow the cursor to roll over even the smallest portion of the SCID window then it will then pull SCID to the front so that it blocks my view of the other windows. Can someone tell me if this can be disabled?
