I haven't heard of that. I usually stick with Playlist.com (though the amount of advertisements keep getting worse and worse) and Pandora. Any similarities/differences?

Last.fm is more unknown artists mixed in with the "pros" -- only because even I get some plays. Although it does have radio based off a specified tag, artists, or your recommendations.. I mostly use it to see what my listening trends are, as well as get ideas from friends and "neighbors" who have the same taste to find new music to check out. It's worth a listen.
I heard Spotify is the best radio (over pandora and I assume Playlist.com). Although I can't speak firsthand.
I'm huge into music, from all genres, and finding new talent. My 400GB collection grows daily.
Last.fm (if you don't know) is a website that records and displays your music tastes, and even offers recommendations based off those for me. It integrates as a plugin with winamp, media monkey (which I use), itunes, and a few others.
