Anybody? (help)

Does Anybody with great knowledge of the Nimzo-Indian+Queens Gambit can help me? Here is what I mean.

You play d4, and then c4, which could be either one of three things (most common)

1. Queen's Gambit

1.1 - Queen's Gambit Declined: Queen's Knight Variation

2. Nimzo-Indian Defense

3. Budapest Gambit

These are highly dangerous (extremely good for white).

Queen's Gambit:

I need help of what to do after the black pawn takes (next few main line moves), to take advantage.

Queen's Gambit Declined: Queen's Knight Variation

Need help here, if I take pawn then I have disadvantage (per engine).

Nimzo-Indian:

Also need help with next couple moves

Budapest Gambit:

Have no idea how to play after this

Maybe we can get in a few games or something and talk it out.

After this a simple- not the best but good variation is the Mannheim:

Are your opponents actually playing those things? Because I really doubt it, and I think you're exerting your efforts in the wrong direction.

I agree. Especially because he plays 1. e4 and these are all d4 openings

@B1ZMARK

@DaBabysBurner

I like these options because these are really dangerous for white. Against computers, I play these a lot, but I haven't tried them in-game yet.

Queen's Gambit is usually a rather slow, positional game as opposed to an aggressive tactics-fest

People at that level don't understand how to develop properly. I've won so many games in the QGA because people don't understand why leaving your king in the center is (usually) bad.

Against the Nimzo, just don't play into it; play Nf3. Idk about the Budapest

DasBurner

Budapest is so interesting to me, it doesn't even seem like a gambit because black almost always gets the pawn back

It's kinda like the Albin, right?

in what way?

"free" e-pawn, something that seems really annoying in theory- but no one knows how to play

DasBurner

oh ok

Budapest has a lot of certain niches that you won't find in other openings (i.e Budapest Rook, Smothered Mate traps, Can bully black's knight around the board in the Alekhine attack), but if white plays extremely correctly he usually just ends up slightly better because of c5 and black's structure just crumbles

3point14159too

 which is why you don't play gambits above a certain level (or if you're a lot better than your opponent)

me who played Muzio gambit at 1500
