API endpoints for current live games

i’m looking for API endpoints to get live, current, on-going games of a user. none of the endpoints I’ve looked at so far return current live games (they’re only available after the game has ended). I don’t even need the moves necessarily. Any idea when or if this will be available?

Based on what the API is for and how often the data updates, I don't believe there will be a public API for that.

There's no reason it couldn't be for realtime queries. Competitors have this, and this site is losing the battle here. Other chess platforms are much easier to build on and integrate.

The big reason is that competitors were built with the intention of doing this sort of thing, while chess.com was not built to let people do that, and they don't have any intention of changing things. 

That's not a great attitude. I guess they're going to get left behind.
