I see a demon
I see a devil
I smell the scent of rosy petals
I smell the scent of the sweet grass
I smell the scent of love
I glance around and gasp at what I see
It’s all over, but you and me
Stand alone, side by side
Steadfast through the storm!
The monsters tear me apart
The demons haunt my soul
The devils devour me
But you are there
You, the archangel, evermore!
Oh, how you save me!
Not once do you falter
As your gaze sweeps them down the path
Forces them to their knees
And I stand up
But fall again…
Oh, how you pull me up!
Your gaze gives me courage
Your stance gives me bravery
Your love gives me strength
How we fight and slash through the monsters
That eat our hearts
The demons that tear through our souls
The demons that rip us apart
Oh… oh… Oh!!!!!!!!
How strong we are together
Steadfast we’ll ever be
As long as we are together
Nothing will ever take us down!

The bravery
