Astronomy Lesson I

Hello and welcome to the first Astronomy lesson of this term. I know I joined mid-year, but I assure you I know more than enough to teach you all you need to know concerning the cosmos.

My name is Prof. Knight, and you may address me as such or Prof. or sir.

Now, before you start getting your telescopes out, I’d like to begin your education with a little quiz to asses how much you’ve forgotten over the summer. Nothing to be concerned about.

DM me the following questions and their answers:

All the planets in our solar system in descending order from the sun, besides Pluto.

Categorize those same planets into Jovian and Terrestrial Planets.

Which Jovian planet is closest to the Kuiper Belt.

Finally, name the three types of space rock and how they interact with Earth.
