I am impressed by the quality of the course by Prof. Chris Impey of Arizona University. I'd say it's both accessible to anyone interested but also interesting to those with quite good knowledge already. It is a couple of weeks in, but may still be joinable, and may repeat in the future.

How much is the coarse?

Elroch

Zero to do. You can pay more for a certificate. But the essential investment is your time. Smile

Oh! That's good then. I'll give a go.

My favourite lecture so far. Highly recommended as a sample! (Less than 10 minutes).

Awesome! Telescopes have come a long way since Galileo. :)

I have been taking a course in Astronomy in Coursera. It is lectured by Michael Brown aka Pluto killer. He had discovered other dwarf planets and possible dwarf planets. The course I am taking is The Science of the Solar System. Michael Brown is the teacher from Cal Tech.
