Automate setup

What is the best automate setup? I really enjoy automate but i dont know what setup is the best. Any suggestions?

I'd generally put knights and queens in my setup, as they are a great combination of attack and defense. Bishops aren't as great as knights, as it is worth a whole extra point more than a knight, when they are of equal value.

depends entirely on your opponent's setup but listen to @kingandqueen2017

Yes! although you have to put 6 pawns in the beginning I like to leave a lot of open space and see if my opponent has any weak squares, then either put doubled rooks of bishops pointing at those squares and finish my pawn structure to allow that.

Go ahead and try it out! I made it!

Typically try to keep your open file on one side and put your king in the opposite corner sheltered by pawns (with an escape route to prevent back-rank mate).

My automate setup is a church (its very holy, wink wink, cause it has 9 Bs and 8 pawns)

And a King

Thank you sooooooo much!

the pawns r all on the 3rd rank, 8 Bs are on the 2nd rank, and the odd k and B r on the first
