Blessings

I want everyone to post a list of how God has blessed you recentally.  Be sure to track the topic.

He has blessed me by having some friends and family to help pay a couple of bills,and that I have a great church to atend,Family has been a great support,friends on chess.com

I read this last night and dwelt on it during today.  I guess first on my list is Him.  He promised to be a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.  He promised never to leave or forsake me.  He lifted me out of a mirely pit and set my feet on a rock and established my goings.  He put the Holy Spirit as an earnest in my heart until he returns to take posession of the whole purchase.  He put a new song in my heart and praise on my lips.  If I lose all the rest, this is the dearest blessing.  Though I turn from Him toward the world sometimes, if I only repent, He is immediately there, right where I left Him.   

Second, I have access to His written word.  Simply put, Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.  I can read, memorize, study, His book teaching me how much He loves me, how hell was not meant for me, and how good, just, righteous and holy His ways are.  Thank God, that I live in a country in a time in history, where I have unfettered access to a Bible.  Others in this world cannot say that. 

Third, my wife.  She reminds me that I am not perfect, keeps me focused on what is really important and gives me good counsel.  She completes me.  She brings emotions into my life that makes life more fun than I could imagine.

My lovely daughter who is almost adult.  I cannot wait to see what kind of person she becomes.  She is talented in ways that I could never be.  May she grow to glorify the Lord.

A fine son.  A gentleman.  On the verge of making his own way in the world.  May he serve the Lord.

A four year old that reminds me to play and have fun in life.  Worries, stress, and seriousness all disappear when he gets my attention.  He is first that I dedicated to the Lord.  I trust the Lord will save him at a young age and use him greatly.

A teenage nephew, who has proved he excel when he is given love, encouragment and support.  F's last year, C's and B's now.  I hope to teach him much in the few years he will live in my house.

My families are close.  Our gatherings are usually full of love and encouragment.  My siblings are having kids so there are new batches of babies to play with.

Good friends, many Christian, in my job, as my neighbors, and some distant.  Opportunities with lost friends to influence them and tell them some truth before it is too late.  I am honored that God would entrust me to make a difference with some.

The Lord has blessed me with a means to earn a living.

Little helps during the day.  The Lord reminds me he cares for me in so many ways throughout a day.  It is hard to explain these, because they are personal.  They mean things to me, but nothing to others.
