Why is 18...ke7 bad? If anything it looks halfway decent to me. In my view it kind of opens up the rooks in a sense
Blitz endgame grind (97 accuracy!)

I literally wrote that Bc5 refutes Ke7

I saw that as soon as I posted that sadge.
Anyways it makes sense now thanks

yes, hopefully yaeger sees this post, she wanted to know how to play blitz. Best thing is, just look a couple moves ahead - case in point, Bc5. I saw it right after I made my move. I don't need to know how much material it wins - past experiences tell me it's unpleasant.

... you dont know what the word "cramped" means?
There are always these wacky chess terms and I tend to basically think that usual english words are those. For instance my chess coach asked like "do you know what a pothole is" and I know what it is, but I thought it was some term relating to like an open pawn structure with a gaping hole in the center or something. So in short people should actually name the traps and whatnot what they are instead of giving them these fancy names you'd give pieces of art

dude i called weak color complexes "dwight holes" until I learned the proper term for them at like 1900 rating
I try for a sharp gambit, but my opponent doesn't want to try his hand at tactics - but he gets a nice present in return... an equals over plus endgame that he has to defend for many, many moves...
