So the game I started with blueemu is finally over, and I'm pleased to announce it ended in a draw! Here's the game. (For the record this is probably the biggest achievement of my chess career so far.  )

Wow! A draw? Incredible! You sure played very well! I will look at the game more closely later. For the record, I was watching the game as it proceeded...you played really well

Great job! I will be honest and say that I don't think Rick should've accepted a draw. Even though the game was pretty even you both still had a rook and a minor piece each with most of your pawns. I know I would've kept playing and with Rick's rating I'm sure he could found a winning strategy somewhere. Personally I think he just took the safe route still too early, but regardless you played very well! Great job!

Yeah, you're right, under normal circumstances, it might be reasonable to play on, but there's only one open file on the board, and my pieces are better than his. 

That game was fantastic! You managed to put enough pressure and create enough threats that blue emu couldn’t crush you or anything...also you calculated everything really well. See, this is proof that you are better than me! I have lost to blueemu twice already I think!

It's not the player who is good, it is the quality of his moves  

And don't let it be said that I have not committed my share of howlers... 

That’s not the point. Amazing game! Wish I could play like that, but get instant pressure when I play a 2000+. Once played a very kind 2500+ IM. Kept on hanging pieces! And played with SAMCOPELAND before...I’m sure he was being nice when he didn’t take the free knight I “offered” two or three times! And he was streaming the game! 😂
