Hmmm... it's probably to keep you from joining the other group and seeing their comments. You can see how it kind of makes sense that you can't be on both sides of a single vote chess game.
Hopefully the staff can fix it for you. If not, don't sweat it, we have plenty more games to come.
No, this is a new issue. Earlier, you could join the group, but not join the vote game, but now with these changes, you cant even join the group.
Wow, The Chess Club is actually beating Rapid Chess. I checked out the game. But it won't let me join cause it says "You have quit this game and cannot rejoing" Sheesh, that's annoying. I'm interested to check it out after it's over and see the archives. Here's how the board is right now.

I kind of want to see how Sooner's team is fairing. Anyone remember who they were playing, so I can check out the game? I would ask to rejoin the chess club, but I don't feel like asking Sooner's permission, I probably would've got kicked out anyway, though.

No sorry, we can't re-instate any member to a vote chess game once they have been removed or left. Neither can we cancel vote chess games once they have been started.

They blew the pawn mate. moving Qb2+. should be mate next move though just not the pawn mate.
I'm just going to pretend that we finished it off with the elegant pawn mate and call it a game. :)

Thanks. So, not as much commentary from them as I was hoping. It's interesting that they were quite low about their chances almost immediately after we played the knight sacrifice, but found some good moves later to improve their spirits. They almost went for a draw right away.
On the key move, 38. Rf1! wins but the voting was tied with 38. Bh7+?, and the earlier voters won the day. The whole game swung on one vote there when it appears a couple "drive-bys" won the day over the good players doing analysis. Our careful analysis kept us making accurate moves and won the day.

I just wanted to check the progress of the vote chess game which we were playing against Rapid Chess when we were in "The Chess club" and so i joined the Rapid chess. And then I quit the group.
Now i see that I am being booted from the two vote games here which we were playing against Rapid chess. I cant even rejoin the games now. Will raise the issue with staff. This is crap.
