Botvinnik system

what are yalls thoughts on the Botvinnik system for the English?

its ok not the best but what do i know im just a 300-400 rated kid in middle school

I like the system. Once you get setup the attacking plans are pretty straightforward and effective at my level. That being said I often find myself abandoning it early because people play weird stuff against the English.

I use the Botvinik a lot. Especially if my opponent surprises me with their move order.

I came so close to beating a 2200 with it once. In a full-blown barroom brawl of a game.
