I lost >100 rating points because of noobs (just today). how do I complain to the admins

Quantam7mechanics

why'd you call it bruh? You could have just said stupidness or the stupidness of noobs

FlyingHaggis11

um, you can't report that to the admins. it's nobody's fault but yours that you lost chess games, and it's important not to be a sore loser

Timalina2

maybe q like 1600+ or somethign

a setting for games played instead of ratings would be nice. i know many good players with low ratings and a lot of gamers played. then i know other players that are terrible with high ratings from following people. lol. its been 7 years and i have asked every way possible to help this. THE ANSWER I GET IS STILL, " TAKE YOUR CHANCES OR DON'T PLAY." gotta love chess.com.

they will if your partner makes 1 move and resigns or times out. 2 moves and your locked in. i also think they will only do it 3 times a month or something. but you figure if you play a lot, like you said it takes forever. find a good noob that will follow your advice and farm. make the points back that way, the noobs need to lose to see how it goes anyway. it's sad that all of the suggestions made over the years have been totally ignored.

I agree, this can be quite frustrating. I believe the pain from disobedient partners can be mitigated with two simple changes:

1. Allow players to "mark" or "flag" certain players after the game ends (in a manner that is only visible to the player making the "mark").

2. If players see that they have previously "marked" their partner, allow these players to abort the game with no rating penalty.

Potential counterargument: Just block the player! I'd like to believe that the 4PC teams community can find a workable solution to this problem (that has been around since its inception) without resorting to widespread blocking. Plus, most players wouldn't mind facing a disobedient opponent; the real problem is when it's your partner. Ultimately, though, I think excessive blocking contributes to an antisocial, toxic culture. I'd much rather reserve blocking as a means to resolve extraordinary behavior, rather than a routine tool to avoid bad partners.

they need a place for new players to play their first 100 games casual before they get to us.
