Why can't my amazon capture the yellow knight as shown with the arrow?

(Green and Blue are teams)

For context

it was atomic teams self partner vs futer

i was already losing (i played green and blue)

it was my turn during the multiple attempts to make that move since the amazon could make any legal move other than capture said knight (though i think the screenshot was taken after the game)

why would you want to play that move anyway? Its actually spacebar protecting you from playing bad moves

Your royal rook would be in check after the capture, and the yellow amazon would take your rook on the next move.
