Bug on time control!!

I don't think it's either, I'm pretty sure that's intentional.

Yeah, this is always kind of confusing. Honestly I've thought for quite some time the USCF tournaments on Chess.com should have their naming convention rethought so it's more explicit and hopefully less confusing... maybe something (for this particular example) more like "US Chess Open Swiss: 10 Min (Chess.com: Rapid; USCF: Blitz)."

Chess.com used to consider 10 min blitz, they copied lichess in calling it rapid and 5 min blitz.

Because of premoves and just faster move timing online, it makes sense that 10 min online is considered a longer game than 10 OTB.

Not one way or another, but chess.com previously toed the line to USCF, then changed. USCF considers 10 min blitz, and this is an official USCF event, so its blitz, no matter that its played on chess.com
