If I remember that endpoint was disabled some time ago? I've forgotten the exact reason why but there was a topic on it in the club forum somewhere ....

Cheers T_D. I'd forgotten I'd posted in that but it was August of 2021 and the official API documentation continues to show the 'is_online' endpoint as functional!
That's not great when you can't entirely trust the doc's to be up to date? Just noticed that you made that exact point over 18 months ago....
But more importantly for the OP here, where's the heralded "new system"?

The change log and the specification do not seem to be a priority when changes are made. Haven't looked but suspect restriction to country code API is not stated either.
API maintenance very low priority. Having said that I think the recent server upgrades have shown a faster endpoint response. (Just a feeling: no speed data)

"a faster endpoint response" - hadn't noticed but at least we're not geting dozens of '502 Errors' anymore, so progress of a kind?
Hitting the endpoint to check if a user is online isn't working with any username. Can anyone else confirm this?
