No, that is how the variant works. Green's king lost its only check, and it's programmed to still count even with FOW.

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the variant's forum? I have been unable to connect to the 4-play games for the last 24 hours.
I think there's a bug - sometimes I get paired against players I've blocked. I'm not sure what triggers it, but it might be specific to Duck Chess. I also play Fog of War frequently, and I haven't encountered the issue there.
