Fix the dang servers!!!! Too many resources being spent on this Magnus acquisition and they're not maintaining the variant servers that I paid for, very disappointing. Come on Chess.com fix this crap!

Variants are disconnecting after every move for like 5 minutes... 

Let's convince Musk to buy the website...

The disconnection problem is ruining all my games. I spend more time waiting for the server to restore, then 5 minutes later when is finally restores, it will disconnect again or my opponent has left.

Elon Musk should buy Chess.com -- and fire Danny, ASAP.

Also, I agree that the constant disconnections and server restarts is getting to the point of absurdity. Proof is in the pudding. This place needs new management. Viva Elon Musk!

I’ve emailed chess.com support. If there’s no response, then I don’t really know what will happen next.  I doubt that this is a problem with admins and even the developer (who by the way is alone and given the task of an entire team) given how little control they have over the server specs, but hopefully trying to send a direct message to the staff will do more good.

Maybe maintaining a bit of civility will get them to listen to us better… but I wouldn’t know

We are very aware the server is in terrible shape, unfortunately the server developer quit and we have been looking for a new developer to work on it. I am told they have found a candidate and I hope he gets signed asap.

For now all I can do is apologize, it's very frustrating for you and for us admins that the server is in such terrible state.

Sorry to hear that… changed up my message a little bit since I was a bit harsh; is it maybe possible to close down the server for the time being or is that not allowed?

Duck Chess world #2 here. The server crashed today and was down for more than an hour. Lost 20 rating points for "disconnecting". Still world #2, but it's extremely annoying. Also, what's up with the leaderboards link randomly appearing and disappearing on each "server update"?

Any chance to play 960 blitz or bullet (not daily) from my cellphone?... can´t find the way to do it. Would also like to know if it´s posible to analyze 960 games. Thanks.

you have to use the chess.com app.

New Game > More > Custom > Type > 960

Note that it’s the Live Chess rating of 960 and not the Variants rating

i think that if you put in the position into lichess analysis board it will analyze

it keeps putting me in the mutated laby tourney even tho it ended already

another bug about server restarts, i think this one can be fixed easily and may be intentional

When the server restarts, chat is cleared (which i think is intentional to make it less laggy)

but also the win/loss ratios disappear

Anytime you use the arrows midgame to look at past moves, it crashes the page and wont reopen until you've timed out. (it seems to be related to having a past position still up when it returns to your turn)
