i must be lagging, those were not showing up. i was sitting there clicking play and it would show a loading sign and then it wouldnt even show a pending challenge. and then i was banned. i checked my own archive and had nothing, ill check it again to see if it refreshed. Edit: Just checked, none of those games are showing in my archive.

Make sure you have "Include Aborted Games" turned on.

Thanks didnt know that was a setting. Must have been lag. it wasnt putting me in matches.

new bug i was looking in my archive while trying to find a match only for my top result to be a live game, clicking it wouldnt give me access and im 90% sure i just got another abort. edit: it let me play despite having 23 seconds on the clock when it finally put me in. Isnt is supposed to auto abort at 2:40 https://www.chess.com/variants/atomic/game/63973556/108/3

This needs to be triaged ASAP! The worst part about this bug is that it stops me from being able to matchmake into a new game until the unterminated game finally terminates. I started observing this issue a week or so ago, but it has gotten really bad as of late. I'm going to cancel my subscription to this site if not fixed soon. 4-player FFA chess is where I've been observing this issue. Don't play any other modes to confirm a repro elsewhere.

Same thing happens in Fog of War - my opponents stop playing instead of resigning, and instead of losing on time their clocks stay at 0:00.1 - fresh example: https://www.chess.com/variants/fog-of-war/game/63986841

Also, after a while the game just disappears from the records.

If you click the link now, it says "Game #63986841 not found".

And another bug - sometimes the game doesn't start, then you refresh the page and see you're already in a game down on time, or even lose rating for "aborting the game".

the exact same thing happened to me in War For Throne, my opponent went to 0:00.1 then stopped, and then the game just deleted from the database.

Can't play a single game in 4 player chess... can't find players and when it's ok, after a game starts, counters just go to 0:00:01 and then everything stops.
Any way to fix that ?

4-way chess is playing up enormously. Trying to join a game is becoming almost impossible, and in games the time keeping keeps freezing up making the game impossible to complete.

When i click "try this variant" on variants.world instead of sending me to a game of that variant it sends me to the variants home page, no games showing up.

Since variants.world's links are normal links to games, it's an issue with the chess.com/variants server.

Right now there seems to be a lot of errors with the 4 player chess variants. Whenever i start i game, 80% of the time there is someone that can´t move or the clock doesnt end when it reaches the last second, which is kinda frustrating. A month ago everything was fine with the mode.

its not just 4 Player, its happenng in regular chess too. for the people that cant move, its starting the game, but not putting them in it. it just says live game in archive.

The board for today’s WoF and the given name do not match. I can tell that the game is called “Insane Battle,” but the description calls it “The Great Filter.”

Turned out to be an error in the database that completely mismatched names and gamelinks. I've fixed it now and will try to change the description of the WoFs ASAP.
