... more SEIRAWAN bugs...
The chess dot com implementation of SEIRAWAN CHESS is even more problematic than we thought (... than I thought, at least).
Some days ago (2024-08-30, 23:28 Rome Paris Berlin time zone) I was playing a game of Seirawan. I moved a knight: d1 to c3. That was NOT its first move, of course (it's not Fischerandom Seirawan). Though it was not its first move, I was given the possibility of placing one of the special pieces, and I did! (I took some screenshots.)
Why so serious bugs, for such an important variant? Hope it can be fixed.
Thank you,

Seirawan Chess: a very serious bug (eighth piece problem)
In the chess dot com version of Seirawan Chess, you CAN'T drop one of the extra pieces when you have just moved the LAST of your not-yet-moved regular pieces (that is the eighth piece, or seventh-and-eighth if it's castling).
So, the current de facto ruleset for Seirawan Chess on chess dot com is different from the official Seirawan Chess ruleset

This game said that 2nd received one win but THIS GAME WAS SOLO https://www.chess.com/variants/chaturaji/game/69768223/52/2
They tied for 2nd/3rd. This changes the formula and means that a player in that range could lose rating.
