I noticed that turning the points for checkmate to 5 automatically turns on the no zombies feature with no way to turn it off.
Case?
Here’s an example game
https://www.chess.com/variants/custom/game/70846403/0/1
Here when Green and then yellow resign their kings don’t become zombies that then get stalemated from being unable to move, but I didn’t set this position as no zombies, but just 5 point checkmate, 3 check, stonewall, king of the hill, and 4th rank=Ferz, and when editing the rules and then using the analysis I found that 5 point checkmate seems to cause the variant to be no zombies.
Hello Varients / 4 player is still not working . Just says connecting and nothing happens.
The variants sever is currently down.
It seems the computer has trouble recognizing which piece is royal when I promote a royal pawn to a clear brick

https://www.chess.com/variants/custom/game/71150439/19/1
It doesn’t show up here but in these two games the game continued after a royal invisible brick was checkmated, and in the first we agreed to a draw, and then I got an error message saying that we played some illegal moves, which were then erased.

In this one I was able to move into check by moving my queen that should have been pinned to my royal invisible brick.

In this one after I promote my royal pawn to an invisible brick my king is captured and the game ends but my army doesn’t die.
i'm trying to load old Duck Chess games from archive but older than september 2023 it doesn't work, it show errors like : "parsePgn: can't read g5-g7Θ-g9 { date=2023-08-30T17"
for example this game: https://www.chess.com/variants/duck-chess/game/53435617/0/1
also the same with Seirawan Chess
The internal logic of atomic a priori forbids capturing pieces standing next to the player's own royal (usually king), even if the (royal) pawns are unaffected by the explosion.
