I have a problem where the zombies in my custom variant won't move and will just time out, which makes the whole variant break. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

I see the problem. Since restricted crazyhouse is a bug, and not a feature coded by the developer, the zombies don't recognize it and think of it as a normal piece and therefore bug out.

Okay, I will rework the variant to not include restricted crazyhouse, thanks for letting me know
Spell chess doesn't allow capturing the opposing king specifically with a pinned piece only when you are already in check.
