Week 11 Predictions
Last week was my worst ever "at the Head".
We Australians know nothing about the game, except that the results are usually predictable because of the consistency of the teams. Has nothing to do with the offence, defence, QBack, weather or state of the Economy, although the sellers of betting systems would have you believe that they have all the 'inside" knowledge.
But, perhaps the hucksters got it right for once last week.

An attempt to answer SMoore1968's note.
I said in my note that AFC playoff spots were pretty well decided already, whereas NFC were up in the air.
So here we go!
AFC first.
NEP, CIN, IND look very likely to win their Divs. KAN and DEN contend the other, but 2nd is very likely to get the first wildcard. So, there really is only one wildcard spot left. Who will get that? Hard to say, but NYJ are probably the best guess, although it is too early to say really for sure.
NFC
DAL and WAS are neck and neck in East. DET CHI and GBP are same in North. NOR and CAR same in South. SEA look to have sewn up West, and SNF are some sort of wildcard chance. So, SEA are the only team who could state with ant kind of certainty that they have a playoff spot.
There is my reasoning for what it is worth.

Week 12 with results annotated according to my own record requirements, much of which is self evident to followers of the game have been posted on my blog.

As you may be aware, I use my blog now for the purposes of putiing up my predictions and comments. I always edit them after the results come in.
Just to show you what I do:
Jacksonville 20 vs Houston 23 (my original prediction)
becomes
Jacksonville 20 vs Houston 23 27-20 (score) L (Houston, my tip, lost) -10 (I underestimated Houston margin by 10 points) +10 (plus means I underestimated the total game points, the raw 10 means I got 7 points error in Jacksonville score and 3 points error in Houston score) OK (my very subjective assessment of the success of my tip, and depends a little on my feeling at the time given the context of the result, and with the size of the margin error being the weightiest consideration).
Jacksonville 20 vs Houston 23 27-20 L -10 +10 OK
