White has to lose queen. 1. Qe6+, either 1. ... Kh8 2. Qxh6 or 1. ... Rxe6 2. Rxe6, either way black's mating threat is gone.

then queen check mates the king seeming it wouldnt block the line of the other rook, the opponent can just move the queen forward and then check mate.
And theres another puzzle!
After Qh4 theres no defense to mate try Nf3 it doesn't work because of Qh1# you see that the f2 pawn is pinned by the bishop so the pawn can't move to f3!
nice thing is you can mate in 2 ways, how do you make these puzzles? because i have a nice 1 in my mind
Don't know just like posting puzzle sometimes I get them wrong so remind me when I get the puzzle wrong!
nothing wrong wih this 1 its a perfect puzzle, it was just weird when i used the other way to check mate that it was counted wrong, but its both right so it doesnt matter
