I don't know...have fun? And maybe not lose too much of my hard-earned rating that I'm likely to lose by one or two well-deserved wins or draws off of me

I also have something online beginning at Noon and that will probably take much longer than a few hours, so I'll probably play chess (this event) on one tab and switch back and forth xD

Yeah, I know it isn't ideal, but I guess I'm just trying to force chess into my schedule; we'll see how it goes

Generally according to my experience in Untitled Tuesday the first round if you are in the bottom half of players you will be playing your counterpart in that round... I believe that is how it is paired, at least in the first round.
