CCI Elo/Rating Guesser Tournament is a unique tournament which uses the website ELOGUESSR built by Shikib Mehri(https://twitter.com/shikibmehri)
Inspired from the Gotham Chess Guess the subs Elo/Rating Series
Rules/Format of the Game:
CCI ELO Guesser Tournament
A blitz game from chess.com will be displayed on http://eloguessr.com/. Participants must guess the Average Elo/Rating of the game (sum of Elo’s of the players divided by 2). Guess the closest to actual rating will win that round.
1. Tournament is open to everyone.
2. The participants must put the guess in YouTube chat in the below format.
Answer = "Rating" i.e Answer=1457
3. If the guess is not in the above format, it will not be considered as a guess.
4. A participant can only guess once in a round, if done more than once, then the player will be disqualified from that round.
5. Every round has 2 periods for guessing the right Elo. After 20 moves and at the end of the game. The start and end of each period will be announced on stream.
6. If a guess is made in the 20-move period, then the participants will be awarded 20 points. If at the end of the game, then 10 points will be awarded.
7. If more than 1 player wins a round, the points will be divided equally.
8. Highest points at the end of the stream will be the winner.
9. Excess spamming will result in disqualification from the entire tournament and a ban from chat.
10. Moderators deleting any messages will be disqualified and mod privileges will be revoked.
11. Decision of CCI will be final.
